BlizzCon 2010 was almost entirely devoid of Heart of the Swarm content, but there was a small surprise waiting for those that sat through the entirety of the StarCraft 2 art panel: a few slides of concept art, and a single potential future Zerg unit in motion.

The previewed unit, what I like to call “the bunker beast,” is just a concept and may never make it into Heart of the Swarm, but it appears to be a Terran Bunker that has been infested. Biomaterial surges out of the bunker, shatters it, and forms it into armor and weaponry for a Zerg monster. That’s one way to break down a turtling opponent’s defenses. Who needs Banelings?
